Requirements

Registered nurses who graduated from an accredited program, and meet program requirements are eligible for direct articulation into the Nursing program. YCP offers 100% general education block transfer for students with an associate degree (A.S., A.D.N.) - for most students, but not all, an average of around 70-72 credits is granted. They may be granted up to 75 transfer credits for completed coursework (nursing plus support courses). Nurses who have previously completed a baccalaureate education in another major are required to complete only the required nursing and support courses.
A student must have a valid, unencumbered RN License in the United States to qualify for admission. For nurses awaiting NCLEX results, conditional admittance may be possible. Speak to your enrollment advisor to learn more.
